"They are inconsistent, some times a good luck and other no... they are in the high volume service overpriced for what you get, the problem they hook the sports lovers..."

"One of the hardest things to do in life is to tell a perfectly nice barber that they 'done destroyed your wig. Well, we've had a lot of close calls and I definitely vocalize exactly what I want so that we're all on the same page. But, DAYUUUUM GINA! What is this? It looked ok combed, but clearly covered up the atrocity committed. Zero fade. Zero. And I didn't ask for blunt bangs (just in the middle thank God). Crooked sideburn. I mean, there's nothing left to mess up. I guess he didn't bleed and that deserves a star . I feel like DCFS gonna come and take my baby boy from his daddy bc of abuse & neglect! Would you believe it took twice the amount of time to do this as it normally does? It's the equivalent of throwing a bucket of paint at your face to do your makeup. How does it take longer?! Anyway, part of being a kid. Poor thing."

"Completely terrible place. They all need to go back to school or shut the place down. They do not know how to cut hair. But really nice people"

"Stylist are less than good. We have had to make 2 trips on 2 occasions to have lengths evened out. Will not be going back."

"I've been here three times with three different stylists and at various stages of letting my hair grow back from shaving it (to the skin) regularly myself. The cuts have been consistently decent and met expectations in terms of style & amount of time it took for the cut (including no/minimal wait time every time). Once I had the stylist go back over a spot that was missed and I didn't get any pushback or attitude about it. My primary litmus test for a barber shop is how clean they leave my neck/scalp afterwards. I can't stand to have clippings on my scalp, which is common since I get a 0 on the sides and back regularly. I normally get a rinse, and come out of it clippings-free the first round without having to hit the bathroom and wipe myself off further. I didn't get a rinse this last time, just a basic towel wipedown & talcum. Hit the bathroom to make sure there were no clippings, and it was surprisingly VERY clean already. +1 this trip for that. Sports Clips isn't my first go-to barber, but it's proven to be a very solid backup when my normal spot is closed on Mondays or overly busy on other days."

"Unfortunately the girl that we usually go to was not available and we were left with someone else. Since school starts tomorrow and my son needed a haircut. His hair was butchered. This will be the last time I go there."

"It is the worst place, very expensive, they do not use a knife, and they left my hair bad in the back."

"I’ve come to this location numerous times and have received haircuts from a few different stylists. Each experience here has been awful. My cuts were never amazing, subpar at best. I wanted to give another stylist a chance after receiving a bad cut from one stylist, and came in for a haircut, as I am a fairly optimistic guy, but from previous experiences I wanted the stylist to know that I had expectations for the haircut and wanted it a certain way. She continued to argue with me about my hair and we weren’t coming to any resolution. I was appalled by her behavior and how she chose to decline my suggestions for my own haircut. Needless to say I didn’t get a haircut from her and the way she handled the situation will make me never step foot in a sports clips for a haircut again. Glad I did too bc I ended up going to a better salon and got one of the best haircuts of my life, exactly how I wanted it. Don’t waste your time coming to a place like this if you want a great haircut. If you want a haircut where one’s reaction will be, “meh” come here."

"I went in knowing exactly what I wanted, I've gotten this cut before in many different places from all price ranges: Buzz-cut on the sides, long and shaggy on the top. I saw the guy in front of me get his haircut and it looked good so I felt pretty safe with the woman who was going to cut my hair. I explained to her what I wanted, sat down, and dozed off like a usually do (I take part of the blame for this bad habit of mine). Towards the end of my haircut I came to and realized she had chopped off most of the top part. I asked her to stop and she did, but the damage had already been done. I had gotten the exact same haircut as the guy before me. Sure, it looked good, but that wasn't what I asked for nor what I wanted. Overall it was a pretty bad experience. If you know what you want this isn't the place for you, but on the other hand if you want to look like a generic male they do a great job at it. I'm avoiding using names but they should really hire people with better listening skills."
